Our Story

It all started when the Salt Smith wanted to improve on popcorn! Popcorn? Well yes it was created for popcorn, but along the journey we discovered it could be so much more, so I created Salt Smith. We set out to find and to share the amazing flavors created in our kitchen. A journey of experimenting with fresh herbs and spices and how they can be packed into a small bottle that can be given to friends and family to use in all of their recipe books. No substitutions. No compromises. No fake ingredients.

This isn’t just a spice company. This is the Salt Smith, where we have packed all of the freshest aromatic herb flavors into a bottle of salt, that can be put on everything. Yes, I mean EVERYTHING! We guarantee freshness across the board which is why you won’t always find your favorite flavors. As difficult as that is for us to not always be able to get you your new favorite spice, it is also so important to us that we use organic locally grown herbs and produce that we use within our product line. We will always try to innovate and bring amazing flavors that are in accordance to our natural seasons here in the heart of Salt Lake City so that you can always enjoy something of ours.
